This photo was taken to finish a roll of Kodak 200 film. I then repeated the shot with Fuji 400. I've always been a Kodak user, but I thought I'd try Fuji for a change. Ultimately I'm better suited to Kodak, since I lean towards the warm hues. I'll post the second photo once I've scanned it.
Btw. I took this shot on a bench outside Mitzi's - the local coffee hangout. When I was going through fertility treatment, I couldn't stand the place. It felt like anyone with a child congregated there in the mornings, and there I was, the infertile woman, feeling guilty about buying a coffee, when trying to conceive (7 years in total). Well, when we finally came home with our baby, I had big plans of hanging out at Mitzi's, enjoying a warm muffin and steaming Latte. Ha, little did I know that my fantasies did not include a child that can't keep still, talks to anyone sitting nearby, and tries to suck the bubbles out of my coffee cup. Instead, we get it to go.
