THE VERY BEST

Being called "mama"

THE GOOD

My Dad defeated Cancer

My grandfather defeated the super bug

I left a job that had become my albatross

I landed the job of a lifetime

I made new and wonderful relationships

Supercapacity won a design award for our first web site project

I made friends with a Holga

My blog, Urban Dig and Lalaland are still going strong

I let go of the bitterness and anger I felt towards those who employed me prior to my maternity leave

I had four job offers in less than a year

I now sing and read aloud without feeling self conscious

My priorities changed, and I no longer think I come first

Saydie improved at agility

I reconnected with a good friend

I had a breakthrough regarding my ongoing creative block. There is actaully a chance that I can reverse it

THE BAD

I lost a good friend, and to this day, still don't know why

The dogs don't get walked as much as they used to

I didn't finish a single novel

THE UGLY

I was forced out of a job while on mat leave - a good thing now, but my self esteem was dealt a heavy blow at the time

L's Christening outfit looked like she was auditioning for the Karate Kid
