Nothing is more exhausting than a very sick child. L was throwing up last night, and spent most of today clinging to me. I broke my number one rule and let her watch far too much tv, but it was the only distraction that made her forget that she was suffering from a high fever and no voice.
My two weeks of holiday have been peppered with moments of happiness and very deep lows. Vague, I know. But there is only so much I can share on this blog (out of respect for others involved). I just hope for better times ahead, not just for me, but for all those I care about and love. You know who you are.
