There is something about this shade of green that takes me right back to a childhood of cream soda flavoured drinks.

I bought a beautiful book today - and purchased it purely because it made the hair on my arms stand on end as I flipped the pages. Mei Mei little sister: Portraits from a Chinese Orphanage.

So it's finally Friday. This weekend will be spent measuring windows and looking for drapes. Not for me though. Sunday is Word on the Street. I'm going to try and make it out this year, if only to see the lovely work by Kim's suitcase. I'll also be working, but no big deal. And I'm assisting a friend with some design work. It'll be an action packed weekend.

So there are big changes in my life right now. I'm taking them all in stride as best I can, but they are bitter sweet. Despite that, it feels promising. I'm just not used to so much instability. The past eight months have had a negative effect on my creativity, but I've been feeling those nuggets of ideas start flowing back into my daily thoughts, and I'm excited about what's to come. For those who are waiting for their Holga Bitch t-shirts, they will come too.
