I'm a little disorganized these days - it's taking me a while to settle into this new routine/life style. A fine example was today, when I planned to buy supplies for a Halloween costume and sew. One thing led to another, and I never even made it to the fabric store until 4:30pm. Despite falling off schedule, I took some shots of L, managed to pick up my Saturday muffin and coffee, enjoyed a beautiful walk through High Park and spent the evening with my parents. So really, I can't complain. Life is good.

Yesterday I ordered a Flickr book - ten months worth of shots of L. I thought it would make a great gift for her grandparents. The printing is inexpensive, but the shipping was almost the cost of the book. That surprised me - it can't be that heavy, and Canada really isn't THAT far away. Hopefully it will arrive soon. That bitchin' aside, I'm excited to see it.

5 good things: a long walk at the dog park with L and my Brittanies, sunshine, dinner at my parents, planning another short trip, watching L (wearing fairy wings) playing hockey in the laneway with "Rogie".
