Today I had one of those "I'm turning into my mother moments". I dropped by the supermarket on my way home from work and picked up some fruit ... mandarin oranges, bananas and apples. When I was unpacking the bags at home, I thought, wow, these would look great in a big bowl, and I'll be more likely to eat them if they are there to great me in the morning (and make me feel guilty for rarely eating fruit). So there I was, arranging my produce, when I had a sudden flash back to growing up in a home sporting a large fruit bowl. There you go. I've given into the family tradition - let's just say I'm retro.

Tonight is my bi-monthly night where L sleeps over at her Dad's. It's bittersweet. I'd rather be the one putting her to bed, but at the same time it's a nice break. I always have big ideas of what to do on my night off, but this evening I'm just hanging - eating a President's Choice curry (too worn out to cook) - and scanning some negs.
