After my Christmas break I'm slowly getting back into a routine with work and home life. It's quite an adjustment, especially the morning rush as we get ready for daycare and work. Frequently I fantasize about being a stay at home mum. What a joy it would be to spend weekdays with my daughter, instead of madly dressing and feeding her, and waving goodbye to her at the daycare window. She loves it there, loves her friends, but with parenthood comes guilt, and that constant nagging feeling that I'm not giving her enough of my time. In the meantime, I hug her, tell her I love her 20 times a day, pick her up when she falls and pretend I'm the tickle monster. When I win the lottery, it'll be different.

Yesterday I picked up 8 packs of SX-70 film from West Camera - the last few on the shelf at West Camera. I'm starting to feel a mild panic about the nearing end of Time Zero film.

The weekend plans: work, build pin boards for the office, take photos, walk the dogs, see a movie, sleep in.

Five good things are back: SX-70 film, sleeping in a little later than normal, taking the dogs for a long walk in High Park, finding square picture frames on sale for $1.99, the start of a new project at work.
