I'm making up for photographing more spring bling than portraits of L in the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy them as much I do ... I'm biased of course.

I survive my first week back at work. I have a theory that the amount of days you take vacation time, is equivalent to the amount of days you despise work once back at your desk - but I proved myself wrong this week. Work was satisfying. I plan to catch up on scanning this evening, and Deadwood season 2.

I've been behind on all things photoblogged lately, and just caught up on winners of the photobloggies this year. Congrats to everyone, especially a few of my faves: no traces, the narrative, tread, 99000, that was my foot, Kemp and Sam. You guys have been an inspiration.

Five good things:
1. A slice of Dufflet cake on my desk - thanks Emily!
2. Less humidity
3. Curly hair - I've quit fighting with it
4. Cosmos seedlings (they always remind me of South Africa)
5. Not feeling stressed
