It's a Monday night and I'm still working ... to the sounds of Arcade Fire.

Last night (after 9:30pm) consisted of a lost Kindergarten library book, three loads of laundry, a parking fine I forgot about, a disgreement over me taking vacation time, a note in L's schoolbag to say that her vaccinations are not up to date (except that they are), bill payments, writing cheques for insurance and school fundraisers, brain storming ideas for a work project, writing out invites for L's birthday party, getting clothes ready for the next day ... and I wonder why I feel tired and stressed on a Monday morning.

On a good note, and an attempt to get my ducks in a row, L and I applied for Canadian passports on Friday.

On a not so good note, L came down with a bad cough and cold to day ... so there go my duckies.
