Today was L's birthday party. A month late, but still timely. If it wasn't for the length of time that Mae naps during the day, I probably wouldn't have pulled it off, but with a little planning, the cookies and cake were ready on time. Bob was a thoughtful host, making sure the parents were happy and loading up the Leica for me, while I kept an eye on the kids, making sure their juice cups were filled (and not spilled) and that no one was left out of the fun. I now have a very big headache, but the two girls are in bed (hopefully for the rest of the night), so I can pour myself a glass of wine and relax. Good night.
