I have started catching up on Me Between You. There are about two more weeks to add. Luckily for me, my camera downloads the images into dated folders, so it's been a breeze sorting through them.
We are in the midst of basement renovations that begun on Monday. It started out as a small job to remove a wall, and put up another one. But one thing led to another, and we have since gutted the entire basement, down to the cement foundation walls. On Tuesday it made sense that we redo the bathroom (it resembled a crack house facility), and in the process of ripping that out, so many other things came to light. If only the walls could talk, literally. The mess that was hidden behind them is overwhelming. A confusion of bad wiring, a gas line that goes nowhere ... the list goes on. As of today we (not actually Bob and I but two awesome contractors) are now having to dig out a section of the basement and pour new cement. I'm making decision on the fly, and well, I'm a procrastinator at heart, so this is stressing me out to no end. BUT, at the end of all this dust and debris, we will have a playroom for the girls, space to stash all my sewing supplies, a darkroom for Bob and a working bathroom. Yay hooray!!!!
