September 6, 2008 | Upwards | Pentax K1000
Bob was sorting through our camera collection this afternoon, and came across the last roll of film that I had shot in my Pentax K1000, over three years ago ... still in the camera. This evening he took it in for processing, and oh my, I had forgotten how cute and little L was at one time. It makes me excited about Mae's upcoming toddler years.
I've been slacking on the blog front again. But the comments on L's portrait a few days ago, make it worth keeping somewhat up to date.
The house is a disaster zone - the basement renovation is moving slower than I imagined was possible. I'm guessing America will swear in the next President before we have a cement floor in place. I have been scrambling to keep up with the demands of grade one ... running clubs, play dates and new gym shoes. It doesn't leave much time for processing images.
It won't be long before Mae is walking. Already this week she has learned the fine art of shaking her head and clapping ... sort of ... and is sleeping so well. Now that school has begun, we are struggling to make it out of bed in time. Time well spent, I'd say. We are making up for many months of lost sleep.
